Responsibilities
8-10 years of experience in manual and functional testing, specifically within the P&C insurance domain.
Expertise in Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience working within Agile teams.
Strong knowledge of P&C insurance systems, including policy administration, claims, billing, and underwriting workflows.
Proven ability to lead and mentor a QA team, promoting a collaborative, quality-focused environment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
Working know-how/experience in Property & Casualty insurance value chain with exposure in one or more areas (underwriting, operations, actuaries) including forms, rating, transactional workflow etc.
Past experience in US P&C insurance domain with AICPCU certification is good to have
Requirements
Lead and oversee manual and functional testing efforts for complex applications within the P&C insurance domain, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
Develop detailed test strategies, test plans, and test cases to cover all aspects of P&C insurance systems, including policy, claims, underwriting, and billing.
Act as a QA lead within Agile teams, participating actively in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Execute end-to-end testing and identify gaps in functional flows, collaborating closely with business analysts and product owners to understand and validate requirements.
Mentor mid-level and junior QAs, fostering knowledge transfer and ensuring adherence to best practices in the insurance testing space.
Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders, recommending resolutions and mitigations as needed.
